Zion Mountain Ranch has plenty of activities right on the property, yet is close enough to a handful of National Parks to keep you busy for days.
Bryce is located about an hour North of Zion Mountain Ranch. Depending on the season you can enjoy many activities near the park – such as rodeos, chuck wagon rides and entertainment, horseback riding, helicopter rides, etc.
While not the deepest canyon in the world, the enormity of the Grand Canyon is certainly impressive. It is also hailed as one of the most spectacular examples of erosion in the world. The Grand Canyon is an excellent place for those looking for a rigorous hike, because all of the trails are difficult. Many take 1-2 days to complete.
The name “Grand Staircase” refers to a series of cliffs and plateaus that rise from the Grand Canyon, beyond Bryce Canyon National Park to the Aquarius Plateau. The rugged deep maze of canyons, plains, and plateaus is located along Scenic Byway 12.
Lake Powell is actually the most popular attraction inside of Glen Canyon. The lake is man-made and is a great place to go fishing, boating or swimming. Over 20 million people in the Southwestern United States depend on the lake for their water supply and economic well-being.
