ZION CANYON INTERPRETIVE HIKING TRIPS

Hiking Zion National Park

Come out for a day in the park and do some of the best hikes in the world. One of our knowledgeable interpretive guides will unlock the secrets of Zion. Ever wonder how the arches form or how the slot canyons get so curvy and sculpted?
Canyon Country Guides will enlighten your experience.

INTERPRETIVE HIKES

Nothing makes a trip more enjoyable than understanding what forces created the very formations and features that you came to encounter. Zion is a very hands-on park, meaning that it is very accessible and easy to move from hike to hike.

Experience Zion’s Majesty First Hand

Join us for a trip to the park. After we meet in the morning and discuss the days events and make sure that everyone is prepared, we’ll utilize the park’s free shuttle system and head into the heart of Zion Canyon. From there we will brave the slick rock terrain and head up some of the trails to explore the true nature of Zion National Park.

We offer trips seven days a week and have set itineraries, but we can also set up custom trips for groups wanting a private experience with a guide.

THE ZION NARROWS

The world famous hike that has visitors coming back year after year. Up to six miles round trip, we can delve deep into the narrows and give you the inside scoop on how it formed.

ANGELS LANDING

Super adventurous. Five miles in length and moderately strenuous; this hike is one of the best! The last half mile is along a knife edge ridge that has just enough features to get you to the top.

EMERALD POOLS

Springs feed these emerald green pools as they cascade from one to the next. We can hike up to three miles to take in the grandeur and discuss the erosion processes that have created this fantastic place.

WEEPING ROCK

A shaded green oasis where a perpetual spring nourishes a rich variety of life. These waters have taken thousands of years to percolate through the sandstone.

OBSERVATION POINT

Originally devised by Paiute Indians and later used by Mormon Pioneers, this trail is steep but worth every drop of sweat. Great views down into the heart of Zion Canyon are found along the way.
